One of costumer EFX 5.17i Reviews : I bought the Precor 5.17i. on sale from Sport Chalet for $2,000 plus tax. It is very smooth and quiet. It is lacking a hand-grip pulse monitor, but it does work with chest-strap pulse monitors.  I tried other brands that were cheaper, but they felt cheap and wobbly. The Precor machines are solid and stable.  Overall, I am very happy with the 5.17i.
